+ How the money is received in Cuba?
R: 1. Deposits into AIS Card.
EThe funds sent from our site will be deposited into an AIS debit card, which can be used to withdraw cash at ATMs or to pay in stores throughout Cuba. The first time a remittance is sent to a beneficiary, a new card must be created, which will be available for pickup at a local office in the beneficiary’s province. After the card is created and picked up, all future remittances will be deposited into the card. Funds can also be deposited into pre-existing AIS cards obtained through other agencies.
Funds will be deposited within 24 hours for this service.

2. Direct Deposits into Savings Accounts at Banco Metropolitano S.A.
Remittances can be paid in CUC or in Cuban pesos (CUP) according to the current exchange rate (1CUC=24 CUP).
EnvioDinero.com through FINCIMEX and other commercial banks will validate the remittances destined for bank accounts, verifying the existence of the bank account and the account holder. Once the verification is complete and the funds have been deposited into the beneficiaries’ bank account, these funds will no longer be able to be refunded.
The funds will be deposited within 24 Hours with this service.

3. Remittances to be picked up in cash by the beneficiary within branches of Banco Metropolitano S.A
Remittances can be paid in CUC or in Cuban pesos (CUP) according to the current exchange rate (1CUC=24 CUP).
EnvioDinero.com through FINCIMEX and other commercial banks will validate the remittances destined for cash pickup, verifying the beneficiary’s identify to ensure there is a positive match with ID presented (carnet de identidad) and the ID information provided by the remitter. Once the funds have been picked up by the beneficiary, these funds will no longer be able to be refunded.

+ How long does it take for the money to be available in the card?
A: If you use Regular Service and the beneficiary has an AIS card, issued by either www.enviodinero.ca or other agency funds Same available within no more than 24 working hours should the customer choose the 3D check mode , and 48 business hours after being verified and approved the order (in the event that the client does not choose 3D verification).
If you select Express Service the funds will be deposited in the account (AIS card) of your friend or family between 1-3 hours for qualified transactions. Some additional fees applies, the amount varies depending on the exchange rate between CAD dollar and CUC
+ What information do I need from my family member to send a remittance?
R: This will vary depending on the service chosen.
1. Deposit into an AIS card.
-To create a new AIS card:
   Recipient’s First and Last Name.
   Recipient’s Address.
   ID Number (Carné de Identidad) OPTIONAL

-For pre-existing AIS cards:
   Only the AIS card number is required.

2. Deposit into savings account at Banco Metropolitano S.A.
   Recipient’s First and Last Name.
   Recipienty’s Home Address.
   Recipient’s Bank Account Number (only savings accounts) in Banco Metropolitano S.A.
   Recipient’s ID Number (Carné de Identidad).

3. For remittances to be picked up in cash by the recipient within branches of Banco Metropolitano S.A.
   Recipient’s First and Last Name.
   Recipient’s Home Address.
   Recipient’s ID Number (Carné de Identidad)

+ Once I order an AIS card how long does it take for my family to receive the card?
A:Regular Service: 4-5 business days in Havana.
                            10-20 business days for the rest of the provinces.

   Express Service*: 2 business days in Havana. (This service is only available in Havana)

* Some additional fees applies, the amount varies depending on the exchange rate between CAD and CUC
+ How/What client can use the Enviodinero.ca Express Service? Most customers' choice!
A: In order to use the Express service in Enviodinero.ca your account must be in good standing. The order must be finished using the 3D Verification Program, Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure Code. And you must have previous transfers using our service for more than 45 days.

Enviodinero.ca intends to deposits all transfers made with the Express service between the hours of 9:00 to 13:00 (EST) between 1 and 2 hours. If you make a transfer with the Express service after 13:00 this deposit will be done before 11:00 (EST) the next business day. If this day happens to be a Friday, then deposit will be done the following Monday.
+ Where does my family member pick up the AIS Card?

+ How to register on our website?
A: If you have already made purchases on www.envioscuba.ca or stores network Carlos Tercero you will not have to register for the service www.enviodinero.ca or www.enviosmedicinas.ca. The same account and password you used above works in both services.

Notice that P.O. Boxes are not considered accurate physical locations and are not acceptable. If you need to specify a mailbox or suite number within your physical location, please list your physical address in "Street" line, and put your mailbox or suite number in "Other Info" field.

The Login is the user name you want to conform. Use something you can remember.

The code is shown to register a security code. You do not have to remember it's just for the record.

+ How do I know the status of a transfer once I finished sending one?
A: You will receive automatic emails every time a transfer has been processed and when it is credited into the AIS card. You could also go to www.enviodinero.ca, login with your user name and check the status of all your transactions.
+ Why does the site publishes only the rate form in Canadian Dollars to CUC and no other currency?
A: We are a Canadian Company and our merchant account is in Canadian Dollars. Furthermore we cannot know the exact amount of US Dollars or Euro your bank will charge you to buy Canadian Dollars to finish the transaction. For your information only; you can see the approximate base amount of the exchange in different internet exchange rate websites such as:

But that may vary from Bank to Bank.
